However,
I constantly read espn.com journals and value what some of the "professionals" have to say about the current situation in sports, specific athletes, and the who and the what and where and the how. It wasn't until last night that I realized those in themselves were simply blog posts, just on a more professional level, and on one specific topic.
And while I have little desire to read about other people's lives and their unique stories (sorry but I am being honest), I found that there are people who actually want to hear about mine..not that interesting, I must warn. And so I will be more than happy to provide a daily dose. A daily dose of "Good One Sherlock", a daily dose of "Sports", and a daily dose of "Brilliance".
Good One Sherlock:
Ah Hell....
I suppose a bit of an introduction would be appropriate. THIS SECTION IS DEDICATED TO YOU NUMBER 3- Everything about you that makes me want to pull out my hair, yet makes for one helluva story, is the root of my rant.
Stop traffic...who is Number 3? Number 3 will be the "it" that this section will focus on. Code name Number 3 will more than likely take a verbal beating through each post, a well deserved one. Number 3 surrounds every one of us. You see it at work, school, while driving, at the store, at a restaurant, your local pub, on TV, on the Internet, in books....just about anywhere.
How do I spot a Number 3? Very easy. You know when you're at a restaurant and your glass of water has been sitting there empty for maybe ten minutes? Your waiter is nowhere to be found, or quite possible busy taking out orders. Another waiter walks by and you kindly ask if he/she could fill the glass with water and they look at you, chomping obnoxiously on their piece of gum, sigh, as if you asked them to find the nearest geyser and fill it with the water that is shot out from it, raise one eyebrow, and say, "Ya I guess I can find your waiter for you.." -----That is Number 3.
Is there a set of unwritten rules used to determine who is and who isn't one? Nope! All opinion based. My rules.
Sports:
A little less angry than the previous section, I will examine the sports nation as quick as I can and as unbiased as possible.
***A small disclaimer, I am a huge Soccer fan- United supporter- so expect for a Soccer post, and then a general sports post.
Brilliance:
While I call upon the entire orchestra to bash Number 3 in the first section, it would be a shame not to recognize those individuals that exemplify the brilliance of mankind. Just like Number 3, you are surrounded by these individuals more often than you think. UNLIKE Number 3, they will NOT remain anonymous unless it is requested that their identity be hidden, or the act of brilliance doesn't come from a person but a thing.

I am excited to get this going. Expect posts 3-4 times per week.
Welcome to the best form of therapy only the 'sphere can provide. I expect only brilliance from this blog.
ReplyDeleteI am stoked for the number 3 because I encounter these geniuses on a daily basis. Generally speaking...lets go to Chipotle :)
